Lactation Services

1. We offer specialized lactation rooms at both our West End and Mechanicsville locations.
2. Lactation appointments are available Monday through Thursday.
3. Appointments are available for:
   • Pre and post feeding weights for an accurate assessment of milk transfer.
   • Difficulties with latch and sore nipples.
   • Optimizing milk supply.
   • Feeding multiples and premature infants.
   • Counseling regarding impact of medications while nursing.
   • Mother's return to work.
   • Transitioning to bottle and weaning.
